Ms. Dawn Corbett is a Health Specialist in the National Institute of Mental Health, Office of Clinical Research, Clinical Trials Operations and Biostatistics Branch, where she provides oversight of clinical research recruitment; inclusion of women, minorities, and children in clinical research; and clinical trials registration and results dissemination requirements. In this position, she has led efforts to increase the efficiency and transparency of NIMH clinical research through enhanced recruitment monitoring and increased compliance efforts.
Prior to joining the Clinical Trials Operations and Biostatistics Branch in 2014, Ms. Corbett served as a Health Specialist in the NIMH Office for Research on Disparities in Global Mental Health (formerly Office for Special Populations), where she coordinated programs on diversity in clinical research and research training, and designed and conducted portfolio analyses related to global mental health and mental health disparities. Ms. Corbett has a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
