Dr. Tracy Rankin has served as a Program Director at NIH since 2001, managing diverse scientific research portfolios. Currently, she is primarily responsible for all career development (K) and fellowship (F) grants in renal and urologic disease for the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). She also serves as the program director for R01 grants focused on urologic complications of diabetes and mechanisms of steroid hormone action in urologic tissues. In addition, she serves as the program director for the George M. O’Brien Urology Research Center program and the Chronic Renal Insufficiency Cohort.
Dr. Rankin received her Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University and her M.P.H. from The George Washington University.
