Are you brand new to the NIH grants process? Have you ever submitted a grant application to NIH before? Are you trying to understand the basics of what is required to get started? If you answered yes to these questions, then this introductory level, interactive workshop is for you.
Presenters will provide in-depth information on the basics of the pre-award process. Starting from the very beginning of the process through the time of award, topics will include registration, identifying funding opportunities, using the application guides, and understanding the Notice of Award from a policy perspective. Get better prepared to understand NIH lingo, policy topics, and pre-award issues that will be discussed in the following 2-day seminar.
*Ideal for new grant administrators from small businesses, AREA institutions, foreign institutions, and anyone who is brand new to the NIH grants process. For attendees who are somewhat familiar with the application process and want a more systems-oriented workshop, see the eRA Workshops agenda.
