Madelon Halula received her Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology from Stanford University (1986) and B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Immaculate Heart College (1976). She joined NIH in 1991 following postdoctoral work and a faculty appointment at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Dr. Halula has held several positions at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) in the Division of Extramural Activities, Scientific Review Program. She is currently assigned to the Division of AIDS where she works on Initiative Development, Planning Activities and Evaluation.
