Senior Usability Analyst

Ms. Nancy Peck is a senior usability analyst for the Division of Communications and Outreach (DCO) in the NIH Office of Extramural Research. Nancy’s primary focus is to improve websites via user-driven methods including evaluating user feedback and usability testing. She also analyzes metrics, tests accessibility and creates wireframes, as well as performs web development tasks to keep websites up to date. Prior to joining the DCO in 2015, Nancy spent 15 years designing and managing websites for various government agencies and private organizations. In addition to a certification in usability, Nancy holds a degree in English, Language, Writing & Rhetoric from the University of Maryland, College Park. Past experiences include proofreading, editing and writing for magazines and conducting extensive research and analysis as a paralegal.
