**The Workshop on Human Research Protections runs for the full day on April 20th; however, if you have registered for the 2-day seminar, you may register for any of the half-day workshops as well. Be advised these are concurrent sessions and you will miss half of the Workshop on Human Research Protections. There is no discount for only attending half of the full day workshop.

***The workshop Intellectual Property: An In-Depth Look at Bayh Dole and Reporting Requirements is a 4-hour session from 1:00pm – 5:00pm.

****Both eRA workshops and the Administrator’s Boot Camp are offered twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

Included in Registration

The 2-Day Seminar and optional Pre-Seminar Optional Workshop registration fees include:

  • the cost of registration;
  • conference proceedings;
  • conference materials; and
  • access to presenter presentations.

The conference does not include food and beverages.

Payment Details

Payment must be made by credit card or check. Credit card charges will appear on your statement as “Highlight Technologies” Checks must be received within 3 weeks of registration submission or before March 30, 2020 whichever is first, for registration to be valid. Participants paying by check will be notified by email if their registration is cancelled due to checks not received. Checks should be sent to:

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made on or before March 30, 2020. Requests submitted via phone, voice-mail message, fax, or mail, are neither valid nor accepted. For cancellations, Highlight Technologies will refund the full amount of your registration payment minus a $40.00 processing fee within 30 days of the close of the event. All refunds will be issued in the original payment type. After March 30, 2020, no requests for refunds will be honored; however, substitutions are allowed and requests for such must be submitted by email to Highlight Technologies. Once a payment has been processed, the registration fees cannot be transferred to another form of payment. Refunds are not given for change of payments.

Refunds are not given for no-shows. Shared registrations are not allowed, nor are seminar fees transferable to future events.

Video & Photography Notification 

Portions of this seminar will be videotaped & recorded, and photographs by the NIH may be taken throughout the seminar. The videotapes, recordings and photographs may be used in the public domain, but no individual names will be associated with this media.
