00C: Half-Day eRA Workshop: eRA Commons Account Administration & Post-submission Processing

Level

Beginner

Note: To participate in this session you must be registered for “Pre-Seminar Workshops” and the “2-Day Seminar”

What to Expect

Are you new to NIH grant administration? Have you recently started a new position or been given an eRA Commons account and you don’t know what to do with it? Then this NIH eRA Workshop is for you.

In this interactive session, we will guide the novice user through key aspects of account administration, maintaining profiles and post-submission processing in eRA Commons. Status, delegation, Just in Time (JIT), No Cost Extension (NCE), progress reporting, administrative supplements, Closeout, Federal Financial Report (FFR), and Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) are among the topics covered. Participants are encouraged to bring questions, share their experiences, learn from others, and expand their professional network.

This “how-to” workshop lays the perfect foundation for the NIH Regional Seminar on Program Funding and Grants Administration. During the two day seminar, you’ll have the opportunity to build on that foundation and learn more about the policies and regulations, or the “why’s”, behind the “how’s”.
